Find the right fit

A few measurements before ordering can make all the difference.

Bike mirrors

Check the mounting style first: a clamp fits around the outside of a handlebar, while a bar-end mount fits inside it. Measure the relevant diameter and compare it with the product specification. Check left/right orientation, grips, cables and brake controls. Never assume that every mirror fits every handlebar.

Fenders and mudguards

Compare wheel size, tyre width, mounting points and frame clearance with the product details. Leave the clearance required by the product instructions. Check compatibility with suspension movement and disc brakes.

Pumps and inflation accessories

Identify your valve type, usually Presta or Schrader, and check the pump head or adapter requirements. Use the tyre and rim manufacturer's pressure limits. CO₂ inflator compatibility and cartridge requirements are product-specific; check what is included before ordering.

Tools and pedals

Match the tool to the fastener or component standard. For pedals, check the thread and cleat system as well as the shoe compatibility. Tighten to the relevant manufacturer's torque specification.
