CUSTOMER CARE

Ready for autumn & winter

Cooler mornings, wet roads and shorter days. Prepare for the conditions and keep everyday rides enjoyable.

Keep road spray in check

Choose fenders that suit your wheel and tyre size. Check mounts and clearance before riding, and clear away mud and leaves that could obstruct the wheel.

Plan for colder feet

Shoe covers add a useful layer over compatible cycling shoes. Check sizing, sole openings and the product's stated weather protection. Waterproof and water-resistant are different claims; choose according to the product specification and conditions.

Check pressure before setting off

Use a suitable pump and gauge to check tyre pressure when tyres are cool. Follow tyre and rim guidance and consider load and conditions. Do not use a universal pressure value for every bike.

See and be seen

Check front and rear lights, reflectors and local visibility requirements. Clean your mirror and adjust it while stationary. A mirror supports awareness but does not replace a direct check before changing direction.

A practical pre-ride checklist

  • Brakes work correctly and tyres are free of obvious damage.
  • Lights are charged and visibility equipment is clean.
  • Clothing suits the forecast, with a dry layer for longer trips.
  • A compatible pump and basic repair tools are packed.
  • Your route allows for wet leaves, low visibility and earlier darkness.

Know when to change the plan

Reduce speed and leave more stopping distance on slippery roads. In ice, severe weather or poor visibility, postpone the ride or choose a safer route. After riding, dry and inspect your equipment before storing it.
